I believe the last time I did a Beauty Favorites post was back in 2010 o_o Since this blog focuses more on just beauty products, I figured I’d do a roundup of my favorite products/items across multiple categories.
Style
pieces from BaubleBox, DailyLook, and Forever 21
- I’ve recently become a huge fan of gold toned pieces – they just seem more fitting for the summer :)
- Forever 21 is always a great place to find inexpensive pieces, but I’ve been loving the selection and quality at BaubleBox as well!
Home Decor
- If it wasn’t clear enough in my previous posts, I’ve been loving candles lately – especially fruity summery scents!
- Whimsical trays and dishes are great for storage and decorating. My favorite is the antique tray I bought from the thrift store for $15!
Beauty

- The Etude blush is lovable as is – how cute is the packaging? And the blush itself is not only aesthetically pleasing, but really flattering as well.
- I reviewed the SUKI contour palette in my Taiwan Haul post, and it’s something I find myself using as the weather warms up.
- The Clinique Lipgloss/Lipstick duo was a free sample, but I still love the color combo – perfect for summer!
- Still loving my Conair rotating styler from April – best purchase ever :D
Geekiness
- I use Sublime Text 2 at work, and I love it so much that I’m seriously considering replacing Espresso with this.
- I’m learning to appreciate the small things in life using Happier – an app that stays true to its name :)
- My Instagram is no longer cats-only :P Follow me for more photo goodies!

I am starting to appreciate inexpensive pieces more and more now. They are always interesting designed and fitting for different occasions. My aunt bought me several cheap earrings from somewhere in southern China, and they are all so beautiful. In Beijing I got the hooks switched to gold! Now I can wear them!
Happier sounds like a new Pinterest, no? It’s probably like Pinterest last year or so when you joined. I think you were one of my first followers. But now it’s turned into a Tumblresque thing everyone has.

I love the gold toned pieces in your photo! I think they feel like they’re more fitting for the summer, too, since they’re warm colors. The tray you found is also so pretty. I really like the pattern around it.

Forever 21 is one of the dangerous stores in my list, haha. I always like their stuff, only to weep over the things I fell in love with because I’m a poor student who can’t get them :P
While I’m not a sucker for accessories, F21 has too many – or if not, lots and lots of – good looking accessories, I agree :D
The Etude blush packaging! <3 It's so… fairy tale-like and adorable haha quite big, though ^^;; I wonder why I never see that maybelline concealer here aaaa… I wonder if it's necessary to use concealer even after applying BB cream? Hm, it does have advantage over black, panda eyebags right…

I think my favorite product out of all the things I’ve acquired for May would most likely be Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush in Dazzling. It goes on beautifully & the shade is perfect.

I actually got it as a gift, but my friend said she ordered it online? I would try Ebay or maybe Sasa.com – I imagine you’d find it there :)
